Greg Dunne to Continue as Head Coach at Brockport (05/29/2008)
Greg Dunne had his contract renewed as the head basketball coach at Brockport
Golden Eagles extend coaching contract after successful first season
The head coaching contract of Greg Dunne at The College at Brockport has been renewed and Dunne will continue as the head coach of the men’s basketball program for the Golden Eagles.
Dunne returns after leading the team to the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Upstate New York Tournament Championship and a 21-8 record in his first season as head coach after serving as the lead assistant coach at Brockport for the previous eight seasons. The 21 wins were the most by any first-year head coach in Brockport history.
“We are very excited to have Greg as our head coach,” said Director of Athletics Lin Case. “He showed poise and strong leadership after being elevated to the head coaching position just before the start of the season.”
