Cross Country Teams Both Finish in the Top-10 (11/15/2008)

Kelsey Conn leads Brockport at the NCAA Regional Meet
Brockport women take 7th and the men take 9th at NCAA Regionals
Sophomore Kelsey Conn (Batavia, NY/Elba) finished 13th overall to lead The College at Brockport Women’s Cross Country squad to a seventh place finish at the NCAA Atlantic Regional Championship race Saturday on a very muddy course at St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY. Junior Pete Manktelow (Hornell, NY/Hornell) led the Brockport Men’s team with a 35th place finish as the Golden Eagles took ninth place as a team. Joining Conn near the top of the leaderboard in the women’s race was sophomore Caitlin McAneney (Hornell, NY/Hornell) as she took 35th overall. All three runners earned All-Region honors with their finishes.
Conn stands an excellent chance to earn a spot in the NCAA Division III Championship race to represent Brockport. The Championship race will take place Saturday, November... read more »
