Welcome to the Honors Program

On behalf of the students, staff and teaching faculty, I welcome you to our Honors Program web site. It has been designed for both prospective students who seek the challenges and rewards of working with distinguished members of the teaching faculty in small classes and current students looking for specific information about the Program and its scheduled events.

With more than three hundred active participants, our program is the largest among the comprehensive colleges in the State University of New York, and it is one of the oldest. The program was established more than thirty years ago, and in the succeeding decades it has been committed to providing our most talented, ambitious and intellectually curious students - whether they arrive as freshmen, transfers, or as Brockport students in the mid point of their undergraduate education - the finest public higher education possible.
