Starting Fall 2022

The Athletic Training (MS) program is enrolling students for fall 2022 at this time. 


Athletic Training Accreditation

The undergraduate Athletic Training program at SUNY Brockport is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE). The Master of Science, Athletic Training degree has been fully approved by CAATE. SUNY Brockport is no longer accepting students into the undergraduate athletic training program. The last undergraduate cohort is expected to graduate in May 2022.

Athletic Training is one of the fastest growing and most exciting fields in health care.

You’ll learn the best evidence-based techniques to recognize, evaluate and diagnose athletic injuries and then design and implement therapeutic interventions to provide exceptional patient-centered care. The program also includes training in the prevention of injury, health promotion/wellness, and health care administration.
