What is an Information Session?

Our Information Sessions are conducted by an Admissions professional. The information session includes information about academics, admission requirements, the application process, student life, scholarships, and financial aid opportunities. You will also have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about The College at Brockport.

While accepted students are welcome to join, this session is geared toward high school juniors and seniors as well as transfer students who have not yet applied. Accepted seniors are encouraged to arrive early for your tour so that you may meet with an Admissions professional if you have specific questions.

Prospective transfer students may prefer to meet one-on-one with an Admissions professional during our walk-in hours. We encourage you to bring an unofficial transcript(s) to determine admissibility. Course-by-course evaluation of credit is completed after being admitted.

How long is the campus tour?

Our tours are led by Brockport student Admissions Ambassadors and typically last 75 to 90 minutes.

What will I see on the campus tour?

On tour, you will see our college union, academic classrooms, our athletic facilities, two styles of residence hall rooms, and more. Please be sure to dress for the weather and comfort as this is a walking tour and part of it is outside.

Can I eat lunch on campus?

The College at Brockport is proud to be highly rated in SUNY for dining services! There are a variety of dining options for you to choose from during the academic year.  During the academic year, lunch tickets are available for purchase in Admissions and in the BASC Business Office on the first floor of Brockway Dining Hall.  There are very limited lunch options available during the summer and winter terms.
