Welcome, new Golden Eagles! After you have paid your tuition deposit, please complete the following steps to make your transition to campus as smooth as possible.
- Get Started (April - June)
Banner ID - Upon Acceptance
Know your Banner ID# - This is the nine digit number, beginning with 800, given to you by Undergraduate Admissions during your application process
NetID - Following Acceptance
Know your NetID - This is your primary username at Brockport. It is the first letter of your first name, followed by the first 4 letters of your last name, followed by a number.
Your NetID will be generated within 72 hours of your admission to Brockport and will be emailed to the email address on your application.
To activate/start using your account, navigate to the NetID Lookup and Password Change System and set your password by using the first option ("I don't know my current password").
Log in to Web Banner - Following Acceptance
Familiarize yourself with Web Banner, which houses all of your student records. You can access Web Banner from the Quick Links menu on any Brockport page.
Log in with your NetID and password.
Housing Deposit - Following Acceptance
To submit your housing deposit, log into your Admissions Application Portal. If you are having issues, contact Undergraduate Admissions at admit@brockport.edu or (585) 395-2751.
Access Brockport Webmail - Following Acceptance
Your college email address is your NetID followed by @brockport.edu.
Regularly check your Brockport Webmail. All official communication will be sent to this account, including your student tuition bill and course schedule updates.
Log in with your NetID and password.
Complete Course Preference Request
You will be able to access and complete this starting on May 1.
This helps our advisors make the best choices when creating your first semester schedule.
To complete your course preference request: Access Web Banner. Select the Student Services tab, then Admissions. Select Freshmen Course Preference Request.
High School Transcript - As soon as possible after final grades are posted
Submit your final high school transcripts to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, 350 New Campus Drive, Brockport, NY 14420
AP, IB, and/or college course credits - As soon as possible after final grades are posted
Request your official AP, IB and/or college transcripts be sent to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, 350 New Campus Drive, Brockport, NY 14420

Complete Your Required Orientation (July)

Honors College Orientation
Incoming Honors College Students should mark their calendars to attend this required event. During Honors College Orientation, students will learn about what their first semester in the Honors College will involve, they will get to meet with current Honors students and professors, and have a chance to ask any questions. Students will receive the virtual meeting link via Brockport email a few days before the event. Students who are unable to attend this required event, should email Andrea Vella at avella@brockport.edu.
Submit Your Housing Preference Form by July 21
Submit Immunization Records - ASAP
All students are required to submit immunization records.
Obtain a copy of your immunization records from your health care provider, high school, or a previous college. Submit to Hazen Health Center
Financial Aid - ASAP
Access Web Banner to accept any "offered" financial aid funding, including your financial aid package.

Affirm Enrollment
In order to prevent you from being removed from the course roster, you need to affirm your enrollment through Web Banner.
Select your Meal Plan
Review your meal plan options. Select your meal plan through Web Banner.
Register with Student Accessibility Services (if applicable)
If you are a student with a disability, visit Student Accessibility Services to learn about our services and complete the Registration Form.
Purchase your Laptop
Laptops allow students the flexibility and convenience to work on academic assignments anytime, anywhere.

Start thinking about what you’ll bring to campus! Residential Life provides a helpful list of all the essentials for residence hall living.
Pre-Order Textbooks
Order your textbooks and course materials.
Upload your ID card Photo
Beginning this summer, you will have access to upload your ID card photo. The deadline to submit your photo is August 6. Residential students will receive their ID card by mail. Off-campus students will be able to pick up their ID card during Welcome Week.
