2020 Clothesline Project
Please save the date to join us at this year’s Clothesline Project to learn more about the prevalence of violence against women and how you can help address the issue.
The Clothesline Project offers women affected by violence a means to express their emotions by decorating a shirt that they can then hang on the clothesline to be viewed by others as testimony to their experience of violence against them. It also gives our community a chance to learn about violence against women. You do not have to have experienced violence directly in order to show support. Please think about offering this event to students as extra credit or bringing your class to the event to have a shared experience of learning. All are welcome to bear witness and or learn about this serious public health and human rights concern.
