SUNY faculty (both full and part time) who use Open Educational Resources (OER) in their courses are eligible to participate in a professional development program SUNY is piloting for the next two years. Participants are enrolled as a fellow in one (or more) semester-long, asynchronous online “teaching circles” facilitated by Faculty Guild. As a Faculty Guild fellow, you will spend 1-2 hours per week focusing on how to improve your pedagogy and teaching practice as you incorporate OER in your courses. Participation is free for you and your campus during the pilot.

If you are interested in participating as a fellow in the program or just want to learn more, please go to the link below, select part-time or full-time, and fill out the short statement of interest form. Those who complete the form are under no obligation to participate in the the pilot project. There are still some spots available in Spring 2020 circles but you need to fill out the form in the next week. If you are not interested in Spring 2020, you can indicate your interest in Fall 2020.
