Student Employee Timesheets: Electronic Timesheet Submission for College Work Study and Temporary Service Students

All student employees (Temporary Service and Work-Study) are required to submit their hours electronically utilizing the NYS Time and Attendance system.

Student employees and their supervisors will be able to access the Time & Attendance System using their Brockport email NetID and password through the SUNY Portal (see link below).

Links to the Power Point Presentation and instructions for supervisors and students can be found below. Please print the instructions for your students.

Important information:

Please see the Student Payroll calendar (link below) for important due dates.

Timesheets must be approved by the supervisor by noon on Friday after the pay period ends.

Students MUST be Authorized BEFORE they begin to work. All students require a new authorization for fall semester.

If your students are authorized to work, you will be able to see your student employees in your supervisor work roster. Students will not show in your roster until their start date.

Students, Graduate Assistants, or Teaching Assistants cannot supervise student employees.

If you have students missing from your roster, they may not be authorized or the authorization may be in progress.

1) Check your records to verify that the referral form was completed by the due date.

2) Check with the student to verify that they completed any new hire paperwork needed by the due date.
