Fall 2021 Housing Refund Schedule

If a student needs to request to be released from on-campus housing, they must notify Residential Life/Learning in writing housing@brockport.edu via their Brockport email address and include their name, Banner ID (800#) and reason. 

Room rent charges are calculated by week of occupancy on a pro-rated basis as follows:

Returning Students: Housing deposit is non-refundable Now through August 1, 2021 (Forfeit $100 Housing Deposit)
New Students (first-year, transfer & re-admits): Housing deposit refund requests must be requested in writing to admit@brockport.edu and housing@brockport.edu  by July 31, 2021 Now through August 1, 2021 (Refund of $100 Housing Deposit)
All Students who have completed a housing preference form August 1 – 29, 2021 ($350 – $250 plus $100 deposit)
All On-Campus Residents August 30 – September 25, 2021 (40% refund)

All On-Campus Residents 

September 26 – October 23, 2021 (30% refund)

All On-Campus Residents 

October 24 – November 20, 2021 (10% refund)

All On-Campus Residents 

November 21 – December 18, 2021 (Full room charge)

Please Note: The On-Campus Housing License is for the entire academic year (August – May). If you move-out of your assignment, without consulting the Office of Residential Life, you forfeit all of your housing charges (August – May) resulting in a 0% refund.

If you are removed for student conduct violations, you forfeit the remainder of your housing charges for the term.
